A law firm seeks a skilled Associate Attorney to join their team in Fort Myers, FL. This full-time position involves handling a wide range of traffic and criminal defense cases, from routine traffic violations to serious felony charges. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a team of attorneys and legal assistants to provide clients with aggressive and knowledgeable representation.

Duties

• Represent clients in traffic and criminal defense matters, including traffic infractions, speeding tickets, and felony charges.
• Consult with existing clients and potential clients regarding case strategies and legal services.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and other attorneys to manage caseloads efficiently.
• Provide legal counsel and representation in court, hearings, and settlements.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and correspondence.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and court officials.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Florida (Florida Bar membership required).
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
