Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of litigation, from case inception through trial or settlement, providing strategic guidance and expert legal representation.

Duties:

• Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
• Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence promptly
• Providing timely, accurate, and high-quality work product
• Meeting deadlines, managing expectations, and performing required duties
• Building and maintaining positive work relationships
• Complying with firm policies and practices
• Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities related to legal practice

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Texas Bar is required
• Minimum 6 years of experience in litigation, with proficiency in drafting motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated business judgment and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Effective research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and communicate persuasively
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
