Associate Attorney needed for Marietta office

A well-established civil litigation law firm in Marietta, GA, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join its dynamic team. This hybrid role involves handling all phases of civil litigation, from depositions to trials, and working closely with clients, opposing counsel, and courts. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills and be admitted to the Georgia Bar.

Duties:

• Take and defend party and witness depositions.
• Take and defend expert depositions.
• Prepare and file substantive motions.
• Argue motions and represent clients at hearings.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Attend and participate in bench trials and jury trials.
• Handle and assist with appeals.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and document preparation skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and collaborate within a team.

Education:
