Junior Litigation Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Handle cases from start to finish, including pre-litigation demands, motion practice, discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Draft complex pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal correspondence.
• Prepare correspondence to clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal analyses.
• Represent clients in federal court and manage federal procedure and filings.
• Take and defend depositions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, including federal court experience.
• Previous experience in class action litigation is required.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of federal procedure and filings, with a focus on motion practice.
• Ability to take and defend depositions.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.

Skills:

• Expertise in federal court procedure and filings.
• Proficient in legal writing, research, and drafting complex legal documents.
• Strong deposition skills, both in taking and defending.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
