Job Overview: A reputable law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Attorney. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work within the Foreclosure Department, managing various legal tasks related to creditor’s rights and foreclosure processes. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of legal experience and be adept at managing high-volume cases efficiently, maintaining strict attention to detail, and demonstrating strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of foreclosure cases, handling all aspects of the legal process.
  • Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence throughout the foreclosure proceedings.
  • Attend court hearings and engage in communications with opposing counsel.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections.

Requirements:

  • Active Bar membership in Tennessee.
  • At least 6 years of experience practicing law, specifically focusing on creditor’s rights and foreclosure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer and office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex legal situations and recommending solutions.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in time management.

Certifications:

  • Active Tennessee Bar License is mandatory.

Skills:

  • Meticulous analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing large caseloads efficiently.
