Associate Attorney - Employment Law

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Employment Law to join its dynamic team in Los Angeles. The firm has a rich history of over 15 years in personal injury, employee rights, and consumer class action lawsuits, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services to its clients.

Duties

• Draft and prepare various legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Formulate effective legal strategies aimed at achieving favorable and cost-efficient resolutions for clients.
• Conduct depositions and facilitate meetings with clients and other parties.
• Engage in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes, including mediation and negotiations.
• Advocate for clients in employment-related matters, presenting compelling arguments in court.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of two years of experience in employment litigation.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in legal research.
• Creative and strategic thinking abilities to approach legal challenges.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Ability to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Los Angeles, CA (90010).

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
