A law firm is seeking an Entry-level Associate Attorney for their Peachtree Corners, GA location with the following responsibilities and qualifications:

 

Job Overview:

The Entry-level Associate Attorney will primarily focus on reviewing titles and real estate compliance issues, ensuring deadlines are met for Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. The role involves reviewing title reports, performing title curative measures, maintaining compliance procedures, and assisting other departments with foreclosure and title law questions.

 

Duties:

  • Review titles and real estate compliance issues
  • Ensure deadlines for Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi are met
  • Review title reports and perform title curative measures
  • Assist in maintaining procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Assist other departments with questions regarding foreclosure and title law
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients
  • Draft deeds and other documents

 

Requirements:

  • Barred in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, or Alabama
  • Experience reviewing and clearing title matters will be considered
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to interpret legal documents and regulations accurately
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Bar admission in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, or Alabama
