This Washington firm is doing high-level telecommunications, Internet, and other technology work for some heavy-hitting clientele. The firm is a respected player in it particular arena, but it approaches every client utilizing the personal style and hands-on attitude inherent in a small firm. Associates are quite happy there, too, feeling somewhat as if they are members of a secret club, and they'd be happy to have it stay that way. And what does the 'club' have to offer? An unusually collegial atmosphere with the infrastructure and support of a big firm. Although these lawyers could take their specialized experience elsewhere for a higher paycheck, the lifestyle and practice keeps them here.
