Junior Public Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a Junior Public Finance Associate to join its Finance Department in the Washington, D.C. office. Duties:

• Assist in handling public finance transactions.
• Work on complex, multi-party transactions involving institutional clients.

• Participate in marketing and business development efforts, including interaction with clients at conferences and other industry events.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of legal experience, ideally with a strong background in transactions.
• Experience in public finance transactions is strongly preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage and work on complex, multi-party transactions.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in Washington, D.C. is preferred.
