A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for their Anchorage, AK, office.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will support the firm's litigation practice, including drafting motions, conducting depositions, trial preparation, and providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree from an ABA-accredited law school and have at least 3+ years of litigation experience.

Duties:

  • Drafting and arguing motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Trial preparation
  • Conducting legal research
  • Providing legal analysis and strategy
  • Maintaining communication with clients and other parties involved in cases
  • Collaborating with partners and other team members on case strategy
  • Assisting with all aspects of case management

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • 3+ years of litigation experience
  • Experience in general business litigation or complex commercial litigation
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ownership of projects
  • Willingness to work hard in a team-oriented setting, with significant independence
  • Strong client service ethics
  • Alaska State Bar admission or eligibility for reciprocity is highly preferred
