Job Overview

This role involves handling eviction matters with a focus on partnership, integrity, and innovative approaches. Duties

• Facilitate eviction caseload and provide informed legal advice to clients.
• Conduct legal research, and draft legal documents (complaints, motions, discovery requests, etc.).
• Represent clients in court hearings; prior courtroom experience is advantageous.
• Stay informed on changes and trends in eviction law across the U.S.
• Educate clients on legal updates and industry developments in eviction law.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 1 year of practicing law.
• Preferred experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title law.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree and JD from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Member of the California State Bar, maintaining all licensing and continuing education requirements.
• Additional state Bar licenses are advantageous.

Skills

• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Strong legal research, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks within a case management system.
• Capability to work at a fast pace, adhering to timelines and client expectations.
