Job Overview

Duties

  • Facilitate eviction caseload and provide informed legal advice to clients.
  • Conduct legal research, and draft legal documents (complaints, motions, discovery requests, etc.).
  • Represent clients in court hearings; prior courtroom experience is advantageous.
  • Stay informed on changes and trends in eviction law across the U.S.
  • Educate clients on legal updates and industry developments in eviction law.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 1 year of practicing law.
  • Preferred experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title law.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree and JD from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Member of the California State Bar, maintaining all licensing and continuing education requirements.
  • Additional state Bar licenses are advantageous.
