A law firm based in Beverly Hills, CA is looking for a skilled and driven Litigation Associate Attorney & Patent Attorney with a minimum of one year of experience in intellectual property and general business litigation. This firm specializes in patent applications, trademark applications, and licensing agreements, and is seeking a candidate with strong academic credentials, legal research, and writing skills, along with a solid understanding of litigation. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative legal team that represents clients in diverse industries.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters, focusing on intellectual property and general business litigation.
• Conduct legal research and provide well-supported advice on patent, trademark, and copyright issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Develop litigation strategies and manage case timelines to ensure efficient progress.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Advise clients on intellectual property protection strategies, including patents and trademarks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, legal precedents, and new legislation.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California Bar (required).
• At least 1 year of experience in litigation, particularly in intellectual property law (patent, trademark, or copyright preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to perform legal research and analysis.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar (required).
• Patent Bar or eligibility for the Patent Bar (preferred).
