A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Finance and Real Estate practice in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have expertise in real estate transactions and real estate financing, offering legal services to a diverse client base while managing complex cases at various stages of development.

Duties

  • Oversee and advise on real estate and finance-related legal matters, including transactions, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, handling strategic and high-level aspects from initiation to resolution.
  • Deliver precise and client-focused legal services, ensuring quality work and compliance with ethical standards.
  • Engage in business development activities to grow client relationships and contribute to the firm’s success.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the effective execution of client matters.
  • Provide mentorship and delegate tasks to support staff or junior attorneys as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of practice in real estate law or real estate finance within a law firm; preference for 8+ years of experience.
  • Attributes: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Travel: Less than 10%, depending on case-specific requirements.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active law license in Missouri and in good standing.
  • Must comply with continuing legal education (CLE) and licensing renewal requirements.
