Duties:

  • Advise clients on leveraged finance transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation.

  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and client requirements.
  • Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex leveraged finance matters.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for financing transactions.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on financial risk management and debt structuring.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Manage multiple finance deals and ensure timely delivery of work.
  • Stay updated on evolving laws and regulations in leveraged finance and related areas.
  • Perform other legal duties and responsibilities as required by the firm.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in leveraged buyout financings.
  • Prior experience working in a large law firm with a focus on finance or corporate transactions.
  • Strong understanding of complex financial instruments, credit agreements, and debt financing structures.
  • Admitted to practice law in New York State.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent academic credentials are essential.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to the New York State Bar.
