Plaintiff Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Glendale, CA, is seeking a motivated Plaintiff Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Personal Injury, Elder Abuse, and/or Medical Malpractice Litigation and be capable of independently managing all aspects of litigation.

Job Duties:

• Manage and litigate a caseload of Personal Injury, Elder Abuse, and/or Medical Malpractice cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and preparation.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• 1+ years of experience practicing Plaintiff Litigation, preferably in Personal Injury, Elder Abuse, or Medical Malpractice.
• Proven ability to handle all phases of litigation independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Certifications/Skills:

• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Personal Injury, Elder Abuse, or Medical Malpractice.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is a plus.
