Job Title: Attorney

Job Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid/Remote)

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced immigration attorney to manage and oversee a wide range of employment-based immigration cases. The attorney will play an integral role in advising clients, preparing petitions, and managing high-volume matters in areas such as EB-1, PERM, H-1B, L-1, E-1, E-2, O-1, and EB-5, as well as handling complex federal court challenges. This is a full-time position offering hybrid or remote work flexibility.

Duties:

  • Counsel clients and manage a high caseload of employment-based immigration matters, including immigrant and non-immigrant cases with agencies such as USCIS, DOL, and the Department of State.
  • Prepare, analyze, and file petitions and applications, including eligibility assessments and evidence development.
  • Draft and review complex petitions and responses, such as H-1B, L-1, TN petitions, PERM Labor Certification audit responses, and RFEs for USCIS filing.
  • Compose persuasive correspondence to administrative agencies and respond to requests for evidence (RFE).
  • Research to support cases, including large corporate clients, and ensure up-to-date knowledge of client industries.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve client issues, share case insights, and enhance client projects.
  • Communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding case processing, strategy, and procedural updates.
  • Assist clients with immigration program management and compliance efforts.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to paralegal staff, ensuring efficient record-keeping and document preparation.
  • Contribute to developing and improving practice processes to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Active Bar admission.
  • Proven experience in managing corporate accounts in an immigration law setting.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to take initiative, collaborate with teams, and manage complex tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and immigration-specific case management software (preferred).
  • Ability to edit and review the work of paralegals and support staff.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
