The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing complex IP litigation matters. The role requires a technical background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, as well as strong academic credentials and exceptional writing and research skills. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation and will be responsible for advancing cases through all stages of litigation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex intellectual property litigation, including cases related to patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
  • Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
  • Oversee discovery processes, including document review, production, and deposition preparation.
  • Represent clients in court, including participating in hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and legal teams.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal support staff.
  • Stay updated on developments in intellectual property law and relevant technological advancements.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
  • Preferably holds a technical background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • Strong academic credentials with demonstrated excellence in legal research and writing.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Technical degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering is highly preferred.

Certifications:
