This role will focus on advocating for clients who have been injured, handling negotiations, record reviews, depositions, hearings, and trials. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Review and analyze medical records, legal documents, and other relevant information to build strong and effective cases.
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials, representing clients in various legal proceedings.
  • Develop and implement case strategies, offering personalized legal advice and support to clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure efficient case management and high-quality client service.
  • Manage multiple cases and legal projects simultaneously, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive client matters.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Minnesota or a neighboring state with reciprocity.
  • Previous experience in a professional office environment, particularly in personal injury law.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
