Of Counsel Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an experienced Of Counsel Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Employment Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and/or General Liability and demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in Employment Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and General Liability matters.
• Manage and oversee complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to strategize and execute litigation plans.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as necessary.
• Maintain client relationships and provide regular updates on case developments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on Employment Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and General Liability.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership and good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters independently.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in appellate practice and alternative dispute resolution.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a law firm or legal department.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
