Duties

• Represent clients in estate planning and probate litigation cases
• Advocate for clients by thoroughly understanding their needs, analyzing situations, and strategizing action plans
• Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to ensure efficient progress in cases
• Attend court proceedings and manage litigation cases
• Maintain effective communication with clients, explaining court processes and legal strategies clearly
• Manage individual caseloads independently, including representing clients in hearings
• Uphold a high level of accountability and responsibility in handling cases professionally and in compliance with legal regulations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide top-tier legal advice

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in civil litigation, with preference given to candidates with probate and estate planning experience
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent organizational abilities
• Proven ability to effectively represent clients in a legal setting
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations
• Experience in managing litigation cases and attending court hearings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Undergraduate degree

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the relevant state (Oklahoma preferred)
