A law firm seeks a detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its teams in Chicago, IL. Duties

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing actions, including loan documents, financial statements, and demand letters.
  • Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate legal actions.

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in Illinois is required; membership in Florida is a plus.
  • Prior experience in foreclosure or title law is preferred.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Illinois Bar is required; Florida Bar membership is advantageous.
