Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled eDiscovery Attorney to join its team. This position is not on the partnership track and requires knowledge and experience with all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). Ideal candidates will be capable of managing multiple projects, handling high-pressure situations, and maintaining excellent communication with team members and clients. Candidates must be admitted to the Bar in the state in which they practice. The position is open for candidates located in various states where the law firm has an office.

Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery work for complex litigation matters.
  • Supervise and coordinate project execution to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and standards.
  • Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for case teams, including partners, and clients regarding eDiscovery project execution and status updates.
  • Coordinate with case teams, clients, and vendors for the identification and collection of client data.
  • Create accurate budgets/estimates for review projects, including revenue forecasting and monthly invoice reviews.
  • Develop and manage document review workflows, including quality control processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of document productions.
  • Provide guidance and training to review attorneys to improve work product and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction where the position is based.
  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery, whether in-house, at a law firm, or in government.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.

Skills:

  • Effective leadership, problem-solving, and research abilities.
