A law firm in Great Neck, NY, is in search of a Healthcare Compliance Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance matters. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, with a strong emphasis on the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law, and will contribute to healthcare compliance and regulatory efforts.

Duties:

  • Analyze healthcare regulatory compliance issues, including those related to reimbursement and fraud and abuse.
  • Provide legal counsel and support on healthcare compliance matters to clients.
  • Handle payor audits and assist clients in responding to audit requests.
  • Conduct research and investigations related to healthcare fraud issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents and reports related to compliance matters.
  • Assist with electronic discovery and document management in healthcare cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and healthcare professionals to develop legal strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.
  • Analytical skills for assessing healthcare compliance issues.
  • Experience in handling payor audits and healthcare fraud investigations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
