Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Ensure the accuracy of all legal documents before submission
  • Appear in court for all assigned cases
  • Manage all aspects of the assigned cases, from initial filing to final resolution
  • Perform legal research on specific issues related to family law
  • Handle necessary administrative duties related to case management, such as filing, mailing, and organizing case files

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • Active license to practice law in Illinois
  • Previous experience in family law is preferred
  • Strong courtroom presence and ability to handle litigation effectively
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Illinois State Bar license

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois

Skills:
