Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in East Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage complex litigation matters, provide strategic legal advice, and represent clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties:

• Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
• Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner
• Providing timely, accurate, and quality work product
• Meeting deadlines expectations, and performing work duties as required
• Fostering positive work relationships and complying with all firm policies and practices
• Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed
• Performing all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail
• Good business judgment and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Research and problem-solving abilities with conceptual thinking
• Ability to influence others and deliver persuasive communication
• Strong project management skills

Education and Certifications:

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar is required
