The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of significant trial experience, with 5 years preferred.

Duties:

  • Manage complex litigation cases from start to finish, including pre-trial preparation, trials, and post-trial motions
  • Represent clients in court and handle all aspects of legal proceedings
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
  • Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure timely resolution of cases
  • Maintain client relationships and provide regular updates on case progress
  • Advocate on behalf of clients during settlement negotiations and court appearances

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of trial/litigation experience (5 years preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and handle complex litigation matters
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Licensed to practice law in South Carolina

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the South Carolina Bar
