Duties

• Oversee a variety of consular processing and waiver cases including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, and K-Visa applications
• Prepare clients for consular interviews
• Represent clients in matters before USCIS
• Review and ensure the accuracy of immigration application packets
• Lead a team of paralegals, ensuring productivity goals and client expectations are met
• Provide legal analysis to evaluate case benefits for clients
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in Immigration Law
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward
• Experience in consular processing and waiver applications
• Familiarity with Case Management Software is advantageous
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to strategizing and problem-solving

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Admitted to practice law in the United States

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Ability to effectively manage time and handle multiple cases simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in client interactions
