Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Attorney specializing in Estate Planning to join a growing legal team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate law to provide high-level legal counsel and personalized solutions for clients. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex estate planning cases and contribute to the growth of the firm's estate planning practice.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Provide advanced legal advice on estate planning, tax planning, and asset protection.
  • Manage a caseload from initial consultation through document execution and follow-up.
  • Conduct client meetings to assess estate planning needs and develop personalized strategies.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive client service.
  • Stay updated with estate and tax law changes to offer accurate legal guidance.
  • Represent clients in probate court and handle estate litigation when necessary.
  • Participate in networking and community events to promote estate planning services and grow the client base.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning law, including significant client-facing interactions.
  • Strong knowledge and experience drafting complex estate planning documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven experience with probate court representation and estate litigation.
  • Commitment to continuous legal education and staying current with legal trends.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in drafting estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.
  • Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex cases independently.
