Key Responsibilities:

• Transactional Work:

  • Handle various life sciences transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, collaboration and license agreements, outsourcing, and joint ventures.
  • Negotiate and draft complex agreements and contracts related to technology and intellectual property.
  • Advise clients on strategic commercial agreements and transactions within the technology and life sciences sectors.

• Client Interaction:

  • Provide legal guidance and support to clients, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, on transactional matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and client service.

• Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant technology and intellectual property law issues.
  • Stay current with pharmaceutical, life sciences, and technology developments to provide informed advice.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other attorneys and departments to support cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience:

  • 3-6 years of experience in technology and IP transactional law, significantly focusing on life sciences transactions.
  • Demonstrated experience with mergers and acquisitions, collaboration and license agreements, outsourcing, and joint ventures.

• Education:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of New York.

• Skills:

  • Outstanding credentials and qualifications related to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
