Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team. The role involves overseeing and managing complex litigation matters, providing strategic legal counsel, and ensuring high-quality client representation.

Job Duties:

• Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
• Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner
• Providing timely, accurate, and high-quality work product
• Meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations in performing work duties
• Building and maintaining positive work relationships
• Complying with all firm policies and practices
• Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities related to legal work

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney
• Proven experience drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
• Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated good business judgment and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in legal research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking
• Ability to influence others and provide persuasive communication
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida Bar is required
