Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team in Billings, Montana. Duties

• Handle and manage civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and achieve client objectives.
• Participate in marketing and business development efforts to strengthen client relationships and attract new clients.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Montana (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation defense.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Advanced research and persuasive writing skills.
• Interest in marketing, networking, and client relationship development.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Trial experience (preferred).

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
