Duties:

  • Conduct legal research, depositions, and draft motions.

  • Negotiate pleas and settlements.
  • Handle case management from intake to trial, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Participate in trial preparation, including witness preparation and strategy development.
  • Assist with business development and client intake, including availability for emergent client needs during evenings and weekends.
  • Collaborate with a team of paralegals and staff to ensure efficient case handling.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Georgia Bar.
  • 0-2 years of experience in criminal defense, though new graduates with a strong interest in the field are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong commitment to client advocacy and defense.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills.
