The ideal candidate will have experience managing cases from intake through to trial or settlement while working within a supportive team.

Duties:

  • Handle personal injury cases from start to finish, including intake, case development, and trial.
  • Engage in regular client communication to keep them informed throughout the process.
  • Conduct depositions, both taking and defending, as necessary.
  • Lead mediations and negotiations to facilitate case resolutions.
  • Research and draft legal documents, including motions and briefs.
  • Formulate comprehensive case strategies in preparation for trial.
  • Represent clients in court, taking cases to jury trials when needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation (5+ years preferred).
  • Proven track record of successful jury trials.
  • Proficient in drafting and responding to legal motions.
  • Strong knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Kentucky State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.

Skills:
