Job Overview:
A highly regarded and rapidly expanding family law firm in Southern California is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its West Hollywood office. This position offers a hybrid work model and is best suited for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law litigation, excellent legal writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.

Location:

  • West Hollywood, CA

Duties:

  • Draft and prepare court filings including pleadings, declarations, discovery requests, stipulations, and Requests for Orders

  • Handle ex parte motions, temporary restraining orders, and initial filings

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda related to statutes, case law, and relevant legal authorities

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses

  • Represent clients at hearings and court appearances with professionalism and advocacy

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients and assist lead attorneys in case management

  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all legal documents and case strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience practicing family law

  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience preferred

  • Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

  • Certified Family Law Specialist preferred, but not required
