Job Overview: A law firm in West Chester, PA, is seeking a dedicated Mid- to Senior-Level Family Law Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal representation in various family law matters, ensuring client needs are met professionally and diligently.

Duties:

  • Conducted client consultations via phone and in person, drafted and sent engagement letters, and onboarded new clients.
  • Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, equitable distribution, support, custody, Protection from Abuse actions, adoptions, etc.
  • Maintain a steady schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences.
  • Represent clients during trials and other court proceedings.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, settlement agreements, proposed orders, etc.
  • Keep clients informed about the status of their cases.
  • Prepare cases by managing discovery needs and coordinating with court personnel, witnesses, and experts.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and Bar admission in Pennsylvania; New Jersey or Delaware Bar admission is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of legal practice focused on Family Law.
  • Proven initiative with experience in marketing legal practice and originating new clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
