A distinguished law firm is seeking a Product Liability Associate Attorney to join its Las Vegas, NV office. This role involves working within the product litigation and defense practice, managing cases independently through the discovery process, and participating in trial preparation. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated litigator with 2-6 years of experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to handle complex cases across both State and Federal courts.

Duties

  • Conduct depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, interrogatories, and other litigation documents.
  • Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis, drafting memoranda.
  • Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.
  • Review documents and prepare for litigation.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, from initial responses to trial.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience in litigation, preferably within products liability.
  • Familiarity with discovery and law and motion procedures.
  • Experience in both State and Federal courts.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Nevada.
