Duties:

  • Consult with clients to gather case details and assess the merits of each personal injury case.
  • Conduct legal research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts to develop case strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, including letters of representation, insurance notices, and demand letters.
  • Advocate for clients in negotiations with insurance adjusters to achieve favorable settlements.
  • Update department managers on key developments in each case.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure secure storage of client data according to firm protocols.
  • Keep accurate and complete records in the firm’s case management software.
  • Stay informed about relevant legislative changes affecting personal injury law.

Requirements:

  • Accredited law degree (J.D.).
  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
  • 0-3 years of experience in personal injury prelitigation.
  • Strong client service focus with a desire to advocate for personal injury clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
