Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled Private Wealth Services Associate Attorney with extensive experience in estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in trust and estate administration and estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. Admission to the Nevada Bar is preferred.

Duties:

  • In estate planning matters, provide legal counsel and representation to high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Assist clients with trust and estate administration processes.
  • Conduct thorough research on complex legal issues related to wealth management and tax planning.
  • Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive client service.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting estate planning and wealth management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on estate planning.
  • Proven track record in advising high-net-worth clients on wealth management strategies.
  • Strong understanding of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning.
  • Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Nevada Bar (preferred).
