Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced and highly motivated associate attorney to join its real estate and creditors' rights practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, collections, and default servicing. Duties

  • Advocate for clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings.

  • Advise clients on real estate, foreclosure, bankruptcy, collections, and other related matters.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Manage case files efficiently while ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop effective case strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, collections, or creditors' rights.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Commitment to providing responsive and strategic client service.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
  • Multi-state licensure (Minnesota and/or Wisconsin preferred) is a plus.
  • Federal court admission is a plus.
