Commercial / Business Litigation Attorney

Location:

• Oklahoma City, OK

Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload of commercial and business litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder issues, and business torts.
• Assess and diagnose cases, providing strategic legal advice to clients.
• Conduct legal research, drafting legal briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes on behalf of clients.
• Meet with prospects and clients to discuss case details and legal strategies.
• Work collaboratively with team members, providing guidance and mentorship where necessary.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial and business litigation.
• Broad legal knowledge, particularly in the areas of contract law, business torts, and corporate disputes.
• Strong case assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to handle high-stakes matters.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal, networking, and business development abilities.
• Excellent research, writing, and briefing skills.
• Knowledge of state and local court rules and procedures.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in the State of Oklahoma.
