A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney passionate about estate planning, probate, and business law. The ideal candidate will possess a background in handling intricate legal matters related to estate and trust administration, tax planning, and business transactions. With a focus on client-centered solutions, the attorney will work closely with individuals and businesses to create tailored legal strategies that protect assets, minimize tax burdens, and ensure smooth legal processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in creating comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, and other instruments to ensure the smooth transfer of assets and protection of wealth.
  • Handle all aspects of probate and trust administration, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and guiding clients through the often complex legal process.
  • Advise clients on estate and gift tax planning strategies, helping to minimize tax liabilities and navigate the ever-changing tax landscape.
  • Provide legal guidance to business clients on matters including entity formation, business succession planning, contracts, and general business operations.
  • Draft, review, and finalize a variety of legal documents, including contracts, trusts, probate filings, and estate planning instruments.
  • Engage in legal research and analysis to support case development and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances when necessary, ensuring their best interests are always a top priority.
  • Manage multiple clients and cases with varying deadlines, maintaining an organized and efficient approach to legal work.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent service and ongoing communication.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience practicing law with a focus on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and/or business law.
  • Proven track record of independently handling legal cases, from initial consultation through resolution.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills, with attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients and to manage complex legal transactions.
  • Licensed to practice law in Nevada and in good standing with the State Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.
