Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a talented and experienced Real Estate Associate to join its dynamic Chicago office. Duties:

  • Handle a variety of sophisticated real estate transactions, including:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop innovative strategies and solutions for complex transactions.
  • Provide counsel and advice to clients on matters related to real estate law and transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of experience handling sophisticated real estate transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Expertise in structuring and closing complex real estate transactions.
  • Proficient in drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
