The ideal candidate will possess excellent courtroom skills, strong writing and research abilities, and a proven track record of managing client expectations and executing strategic litigation plans.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters primarily related to business, real estate, and construction disputes.
  • Draft and prepare court pleadings, legal memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Draft and respond to written discovery requests, including interrogatories and requests for production.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, manage expectations, and execute strategic litigation plans.
  • Present cases in court, including handling motions, trials, and hearings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strategize and execute litigation approaches.
  • Review and analyze case documents, contracts, and other legal materials.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and legal trends to provide informed legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of successful experience representing clients in civil litigation.
  • Excellent courtroom skills and proven advocacy abilities.
  • Strong writing skills with experience drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Solid research and analytical skills to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado Bar and in good standing.
