Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including litigation, foreclosure, probate, and real estate matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare briefs and memoranda.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to meet clients' needs and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, ensuring they know their rights and obligations.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Participate in community involvement initiatives and contribute to the firm’s pro bono activities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in litigation, foreclosure, probate, and real estate.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
  • Commitment to exceptional client service and community involvement.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent writing, research, and advocacy skills.
  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required.
  • Admission to the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar (required).
  • Admission to the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar (preferred).
