The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in international estate planning, advising high-net-worth individuals and companies. Location

Duties

• Advise high-net-worth individuals and companies on complex international estate planning matters.
• Provide cross-border tax planning for U.S. and non-U.S. taxpayers, including multi-jurisdictional legal and tax considerations.
• Counsel on foreign trusts, pre-immigration and expatriation planning, and tax compliance for overseas accounts and foreign assets.
• Assist with planning for the purchase of U.S. property by non-U.S. persons and related tax and reporting obligations.
• Draft estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, and tax filings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary legal teams to address sophisticated client needs.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, offering tailored legal strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in international estate planning and cross-border tax matters.
• Demonstrated expertise in estate planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong focus on client service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team to solve complex legal issues.
• Member in good standing of the bar in the jurisdiction where the position is located (required).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the bar of the jurisdiction where the position is located (required).
