Duties:

• Represent clients in general liability litigation matters
• Manage a diverse caseload from start to finish, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
• Maintain regular client communication and ensure timely case progress
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives to promote a positive work culture

Requirements:

• 3+ years of general liability litigation experience
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases independently
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proven track record of job stability and excellent references
• Member of the California State Bar in good standing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California (California Bar membership required)

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and client communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
