  • Engage in high-level negotiation and settlement discussions, turning challenging disputes into favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Manage all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients, keeping them informed and advised on case developments, risks, and strategies.
  • Work closely with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to prepare cases and ensure that all legal tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Provide strategic counsel and representation in civil matters such as contract disputes, business litigation, personal injury, real estate litigation, and other complex civil cases.
  • Attend mediation and arbitration proceedings as required to resolve disputes outside of court.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Florida civil litigation laws and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must be admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
  • 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
  • Strong litigation skills, including drafting motions, conducting discovery, and handling trials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling legal arguments.
  • Experience with client negotiations, including settlement discussions and mediations.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Confidence in the courtroom and the ability to present complex legal arguments in a clear, persuasive manner.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work as part of a team to solve challenging legal problems.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar.

  • Expertise in civil litigation, including knowledge of Florida state and federal civil procedure.
