Job Overview

A well-established law firm in Dearborn, Michigan is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 0–3 years of experience to support a statewide practice primarily serving clients in the assisted living industry. This position provides hands-on experience in a variety of legal areas including employment law, regulatory compliance, administrative hearings, corporate governance, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and communication skills and a desire to grow in a client-facing advisory role while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Duties

  • Assist in litigation related to employment disputes and contract matters

  • Draft and review transactional documents and service contracts

  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings related to licensing and regulatory issues

  • Support estate planning and probate matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of legal experience in any of the following areas:

  • Strong interest in working with assisted living and mental health service providers

  • Excellent legal writing and oral communication skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
