Junior To Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Short Hills, NJ, specializing in energy transition finance, seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters, including novel financing deals in the energy transition space.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, promptly answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence efficiently.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and precise work product.
• Meet deadlines and expectations while performing required duties.
• Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external parties.
• Adhere to all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, digital conference calls, and meetings as necessary.
• Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
• Experience handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.
• Proven expertise in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good business judgment and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient research and problem-solving capabilities.
• Conceptual thinking and the ability to influence others.
• Persuasive communication skills and some management experience.
• Admission to practice law in New Jersey.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
