Junior to Mid-level Tax Associate Attorney

A law firm located in San Francisco is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Tax Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities:

Duties:

• Conducting thorough legal research and analysis on a variety of tax matters.
• Drafting legal documents such as memoranda, agreements, and opinions.
• Providing support to senior attorneys in transactional tax matters.
• Collaborating closely with securities and finance lawyers within the firm.
• Interacting with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials nationwide on tax-related issues.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in California.
• Preferably 2-4 years of experience in tax law.
• Strong understanding of transactional tax principles.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Any relevant tax certifications are advantageous.
